Former vp of programming and development John F. Hardman has been promoted to sr. vp of Kids’ WB!. In his new position, he will oversee all aspects of the development, scheduling and programming of animated and live-action series, reporting to Jed Petrick, The WB’s president and COO.
Hardman has been with Kids’ WB! for four years and has been a key exec. responsible for the creation and development of series such as ratings darling Yu-Gi-Oh!. He also played an essential role developing the animated projects Ozzy & Drix, iMucha Lucha! and What’s New Scooby-Doo? In addition, he serves as the current programming executive on Kids’ WB!’s hit series Jackie Chan Adventures and X-Men: Evolution, among others.
Before joining Kids’ WB!, Mr. Hardman was head of development and current programming for the TV Animation division of DreamWorks SKG. Prior to that, he served as director of creative affairs at Klasky Csupo Studios and was responsible for all development of their new series, including The Wild Thornberrys, Rocket Power and As Told By Ginger.
