Ashish Kulkarni, COO of jadooWorks Animation Studio, has been elected to the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. As an Associate representing animation, he will be involved in helping to organize Academy activities, such as judgings and panels, and will participate in the various sub committees.
Kulkarni was elected by a majority vote from the full board of directors of the Television Academy to serve a two-year term.
As jadooWorks COO, Kulkarni is responsible for the running the Bangalore, India-based animation house. He helped establish the 2D and 3D studio and has successfully completed 20 animated projects in the two years the studio has been open.
The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, headquartered in New York City, is the largest organization of international broadcasters in the world with more than 150 companies in more than 47 countries. The Academy is dedicated to fostering relationships between international broadcasters, was well as encouraging excellence in worldwide television programming by recognizing it with the prestigious International Emmy Award.
