Gaumont-Alphanim Adds Dhrami to Exec Team

French animation company Gaumont-Alphanim has named Marc Dhrami, formerly of Millimages, its head of production financing and co-productions.

Dhrami joined the company on Jan. 3 and reports to managing director Pierre Belaisch. He replaces Jeremie Fajner, who held the title of deputy managing director production financing and business development and is leaving the company for new challenges in the industry.

Dhrami began working in animation at the Studio Dargaud-Marina as post-production supervisor, moving up to head of production. In 2000, he moved to Millimages as head of operations and in 2005 was promoted to head of productions on the company’s series and animated movies.

The company is best known as the producer of such hit animated series as Galactik Football, Robotboy, Zombie Hotel and Santa Apprentice.
