French graphic artist Pascal Witaszek has caused a bit of a stir by creating a poster for a nonexistent biopic of Walt Disney that a lot of people wish was really happening. Here it is:

Walt

Walt

What do you think, Animag readers? Is this a good idea? Is Ryan Gosling?

I was amazed when I first saw this. It was a huge let down when I found out it wasn’t real. However, this would be a great marketing ploy to get a pulse on whether a studio should invest the money before making a movie. Great hype for those on the inside watching. I hope they make it. What a story it is to tell!

I love this poster.  I’m even fine with the idea of Ryan Gosling playing Walt.  Too bad it’s not real…yet.

It shouldn’t be Disney that should make a movie about Walt, it should be another studio due to conflict of interest. Walt Disney’s story wasn’t a fairy tale, and if Disney did a movie about him they would only put in the positive moments and completely leave out the bad just like the documentary “Walt: the man behind the Myth.”
