Oliver Ellis and Helen Howells — both former executives at Target Entertainment — have formed a new production and rights company for children’s entertainment called Hoho Entertainment.

The company states it has a development slate already in place and plans to announce its first production in a few months.

“We’re very excited about our new venture, particularly with the line-up of projects we have in development,” said Ellis and Howells in a statement. “We think they have great potential and we look forward to being able to talk to broadcasters and other production partners about them very soon.”

Ellis formerly was director of children’s and family programs, while Howells was commercial director.
