Michael Francis, chief global brand officer for DreamWorks Animation, is resigning from his full-time position in December and transitioning into a consulting role. When the shift takes place, Jim Fielding, head of global consumer products, will oversee DWA’s licensing and franchise management, working under president Ann Daly.
Michael Francis has been in charge of the company’s branding, licensing, consumer products and franchise management since 2013. He will continue a relationship with DWA in an external consultant role, assisting with ongoing work to enhance the value of the company as a worldwide family entertainment brand. He will also serve on the board for AwesomenessTV.
