Donna Friedman Meir, owner and founder of cross-media outfit Lemonade Creative Consulting, has been elected to serve on the board of California’s health and education policy advocacy org Children Now.

“Donna brings Children Now decades of experience in growing successful business units in the children’s media industry and we look forward to benefiting from her strategy, development and marketing expertise as a member of our board,” said Children Now president Ted Lempert.

“I am thrilled to be joining the board of this wonderful organization that strives to make children’s development the societal priority it clearly should be,” says Friedman Meir. “The voice Children Now gives to children’s educational and health needs is very aligned with my personal passions and values, both as a mom and a woman who has dedicated my whole career to making meaningful entertainment experiences for kids. I look forward to diving in and helping Children Now grow its presence and impact.”

Friedman-Meyer has held senior exec positions at National Geographic Kids, WB TV Network and Nickelodeon. Prior to NGKE, Donna held senior executive positions with the WB Television Network and Nickelodeon. Lemonade’s clients include Insight Kids, a research-driven strategy firm that inspires its clients to build innovative and impactful, experiences for kids and families, Dave Edwards Entertainment Media and The Nebo Company among others.
