The reorganization of DC Entertainment continues with the appointment of Bob Harras as editor in chief of the company’s comic book publishing efforts.
As the first person to hold the title of editor in chief at the company since 2002, Harras will oversee the content of DC Comics, Vertigo, DC Universe and Mad Magazine. He will report to co-publishers Dan DiDio and Jim Lee.
Harras is best-known as the former editor in chief of Marvel Comics, a post he held from 1995 to 2000. He previously had worked as an editor at Marvel overseeing the X-Men line of books from the late 1980s through the mid-1990s.
Harras previously worked as DC’s editor of collected editions.
