Corus Children’s TV Names Joanna Webb VP, Programming

Corus Ent. has promoted Joanna Webb to the position of VP of Programming. In her new role, Webb will continue to be responsible for driving ratings on YTV, Treehouse and Discovery Kids. She will also remain acting director of programming on W Network, Corus’ specialty network for women.

Webb joined YTV in 1996. Under her leadership as program director for the past two years, YTV has improved ratings on all demographics, becoming one of the year’s top Canadian specialty channels. With programs such as The Fairly OddParents and Spongebob Squarepants, YTV consistently has the top 17 out of 20 top ranked shows for kids, according to Corus.
