Cartoon Network veteran Paul Condolora has been named senior VP of digital for Turner Broadcasting System Inc.’s Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media Group. Based in Atlanta, he will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital strategy and product development across multiple platforms for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, SuperDeluxe and GameTap.
Condolora most recently served as senior VP and general manager for Cartoon Network New Media, responsible for further developing new Cartoon Network and Adult Swim-branded products and services for burgeoning distribution platforms such as broadband, VOD, mobile and interactive television. He also oversaw creative development and day-to-day operations for Cartoon Network.com and all related sites and ancillary businesses, including the upcoming Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall, the network’s first massively multi-player online game.
Prior to joining Cartoon Network Online as VP of business development in 2000, Condolora headed the multimedia department at Sony Pictures Ent. in Los Angeles. He has also managed U.S.-based software development for Sony’s AIBO entertainment robot and was the director of special projects for Sony Pictures Ent., focusing on business development.
