In case you haven’t been keeping tabs on your local alternative weekly rag, Simpsons creator Matt Groening pulled the plug on his long-running homage to angst Life in Hell this summer. To pay tribute to this seminal indie strip, 22 of Groening’s cartoonist cohorts and admirers banded together to create an awesome tribute poster with help from the Center for Cartoon Studies.

Contributors include Sergio Aragones, Alison Bechdel, Ruben Bolling, Jim Borgman, Jeffrey Brown, Ivan Brunetti, Jordan Crane, Tom Gammill, Sammy Harkham, Peter Kuper, Carol Lay, Bobby London, Patrick McDonnell, Tony Millionaire, Jerry Scott, R. Sikoryak, Jen Sorensen, Art Spiegelman, James Sturm and Tom Tomorrow.

You can download the poster from a link found here. Learn more about the Center for Cartoon Studies at cartoonstudies.org.
