As part of the company's ongoing global brand expansion activities, Gullane Entertainment has named Bill Gross sr vp, brand strategy. In this newly created position, Gross will oversee, expand and manage Gullane Entertainment's portfolio of global brands, which includes Guinness World Records and Thomas the Tank Engine, as well as the development of new ones. Gross will be based in Gullane Entertainment's New York office.

Most recently, Gross was co-founder, president and CEO of Cartoon Pizza, the producer of the hit animated series, Stanley, from 2000-2001. On behalf of Cartoon Pizza, Gross initiated a distribution relationship for education content with Sesame Workshop, as well as a relationship with Gullane Entertainment. Additionally, Gross created exclusive relationships with major retailers for the direct distribution and licensing of Cartoon Pizza's content.

In 1997, as an entertainment manager, Gross arranged the acquisition of his client company, Jumbo Pictures, Inc. by the Walt Disney Company, where he subsequently served as sr vp and general manager, from 1997 to 2000.
