Six-time Emmy winner, Phil Roman and his Studio City-based Phil
Roman Entertainment, along with co-production partner Atomic Cartoons,
will showcase Atomic Betty at MIPCOM. Vancouver-based Atomic
is currently in development with PRE on this (52x11) series that
follows the imaginary adventures of Atomic Betty, the outer
space alter ego of a young stay-at-home earth girl. Although based
on a girl, Atomic Betty is geared towards both genders as
it follows a kid's way of dealing with the unfamiliar and sometimes
difficult world of childhood. The studios report that they have
completed a main title sequence, a complete show bible and episode
synopsis for pitching.
Atomic Betty was negotiated for Phil Roman Entertainment
by the firms VP, Rick Ramirez and for Atomic Cartoons by Cheryl
Nelson of Wyman, Isaacs, Blumenthal & Lynne of Los Angeles,
California.
