Animasia Studio is an MSC Malaysia status company providing one-stop solution to your production needs of creative digital contents. We carry on going ideas of producing out-of-the-world creative animation by oozing colour, fun, adventure and turning still life into motion.

In the capacity of character design, concept artwork and storyboarding, Animasia Studio has excelled many Government Ministries and creative companies based in Malaysia and abroad.

With tremendous achievements in Malaysia, Animasia Studio is jet set to pierce international skies. Our main collaborative partners include MDeC (Multimedia Development Corporation Malaysia), Cartoon Network, Strika Entertainment and Disney Channel and we are constantly bringing in some new and exciting shows such as the newly produced animated movie ‘Balla Bowl’, the ongoing series of ‘Bola Kampung’ and the most recent successful football series ‘Supa Strikas’ which was shown over 50 countries during World Cup 2010.

In 2006, our self created animation titled “ABC Monster Detective” was screened at MIPCOM Junior in Cannes, France and received overwhelming response from the international arena. It was the only Asian concept that managed to go into the TOP 30 “Most Requested Program” at MIPCOM Junior. For the second consecutive year in 2007, “ABC Monsters” was again TOP 30 Most Requested Program at MIPCOM Junior.

2007 proved to be another fruitful year as “Bola Kampung”, our well known football animation was licensed by international cartoon broadcaster Disney Channel (Asia) and broadcast over major Asian territories. This is the first Malaysian Made animation to ever be licensed and broadcasted by Disney! Along our other success, “Bola Kampung” was also the first Malaysian intellectual property that is commercialized and spinned-off into various industries such as the apparels, publication, and merchandising, both locally and internationally.

Our pride and joy, “Supa Strikas” was the first animated series to be broadcasted by STAR Sports Asia from February to June 2009 while in the same year, “Bola Kampung” Season 3 started airing over Disney Channel Asia every Thursday and Fridays at 11am. Around the same time, Animasia Studio and Cartoon Network entered into a Co-production arrangement for the creation of “Balla Bowl” Feature movie premiering in 2010 over Cartoon Network India. The MoU Exchange is held in MIPCOM Cannes, France and was witness by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Foreign Minister and Deputy Minister of International Trade.

Currently, we are also developing two animation series called “Kung Fu Chicken” and “Bugg & Ozzy”. “Kung Fu Chicken” (26 epd x 22 min), is a story that takes place on an island called Rocky Perch, a land filled with chaos, mayhem and birds…lots and lots of birds. Golden Egg Securities is a company that offers around the clock protection from thieves and Bandits. They provide Kung Fu style security to the citizens of Rocky Perch and their valuables, as they travel across the island. Their services are in great demand, since the island is also home to the world’s pinkest criminal mastermind, Dr Gringo, the Pink Flamingo, who is hell-bent on getting rid of Rocky Peak’s newest hero, Kung Fu Chicken.

“Bugg & Ozzy” (26 epd x 3 min)shows deep inside the body of little Billy, where a battle of white cells and viruses are taking place. Bugg and his band of viruses and germs duke it out with Ozzy, the body’s first and last line of defense in the fight to feel good.

With a mission in making continuous improvements in ourselves while nurturing and guiding fresh talents for creating and producing world class contents, we aim to only achieve the best and nothing less.
