An exclusive co-publishing agreement between Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Electronic Arts will see a video game based on the upcoming live-action/animated feature Looney Tunes: Back In Action. The partnership marks the first time Warner Bros. Consumer Products has partnered to co-publish a video game title.
While Warner Bros. has traditionally licensed its properties without maintaining creative input, the studio feels the game will benefit from its knowledge of the Looney Tunes property, as well as the distribution expertise of Electronic Arts and the development talent at U.K.-based Warthog.
Players of Looney Tunes: Back In Action will be able to switch off between Bugs and Daffy on a multi-level, globetrotting scavenger hunt adventure. The game will be available for PlayStation 2, GameCube and Game Boy Advance.
Set in a live-action world where animated characters and humans interact, the film Looney Tunes: Back in Action will star Brendan Fraser and Jenna Elfman. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz and Tweety will join them on a comic adventure that takes them from Hollywood to the jungles of Africa. The game will be released in conjunction with the movie’s November 2003 theatrical debut.
