Spy Kids Sneak Into Happy Meals

To promote today’s release of Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, Dimension Films and McDonald’s are teaming up to bring the fun and excitement to kids with a side of burgers and fries. Participating restaurants are throwing in action figures, 3D glasses and 3D comic books with the purchase of Happy Meals.

The transparent figurines feature the film’s title characters, Juni and Carmen, inside a robot machine, wearing a virtual reality suit or taking flight on a freewheeling virtual cycle. In addition, each action figure has a hidden four-digit code that can be used by kids to solve games in the 3D Comic, gain access to website activities and reveal hidden codes in the Spy Kids 3-D PC game.

The 3-D comic books tell a short story inspired by the movie’s script,

complete with a cliffhanger ending.

The McDonald’s Spy Kids 3-D Happy Meal promotion starts today and will run through August 14.
