HIT Honors Licensees With Pingu Awards
HIT Entertainment honored its licensees with the third annual U.K. Pingu Awards at the Brand Licensing Europe show in London.
The awards, given by HIT to recognize its licensing and retail partners, were given out at a special event attended by more than 100 partners from the licensing industry. The winners of this year’s awards are:
‘ U.K. Product of the Year: Wesco for the Thomas and Bob Whizz Watch
‘ U.K. Retailer of the Year: Toys R Us for the Fireman Sam Tour
‘ U.K. Promotion of the Year: Hamley’s for its Cartoon Crazy Month featuring Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder week-long promotion
‘ U.K. Publishing Licensee of the Year: Egmont Magazines for the refreshed Fireman Sam Magazine
‘ U.K. Licensee of the Year: Smith & Brooks for its strong Thomas & Friends range and year on year growth.
