Disney and Energizer hope to get audiences juiced to see the upcoming animated feature Home on the Range. The two companies have partnered with Quantum Loyalty Systems to launch a promotion that rewards loyal Energizer customers with tickets to see the Western musical-comedy, set to hit theaters April 2.
Customers who purchase two multi-packs of Energizer Max batteries and send in the UPC codes with receipt dated between February 23 and May 14, 2004, will receive one adult admission to Home on the Range or any other Disney or Touchstone movie. The “Energizer National Movie Ticket Promotion” redemption is valid through December 31, 2004.
Home on the Range stars the voices of Roseanne Barr, Dame Judi Dench, and Jennifer Tilly as a trio of dairy cows who set out to capture wanted cattle rustler Alameda Slim (voiced by Randy Quaid) and use the reward money to save their farm. Country music stars as k.d. lang, Bonnie Raitt and Tim McGraw join Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin) in providing the film’s music.
