With the countdown until its domestic release, CG flick Legends of Valhalla: Thor from Icelandic studio CAOZ has found a new champion in Egmont Licensing, signing a deal to handle licensing and publishing for the highly anticipated film.

Under the terms of the contract, Egmont will handle all licensing matters in the Nordic Region and publishing on a larger scale. The company has already begun development of a number of publishing items, to be presented at the Frankfurt Book Fair in October. Egmont is the largest media/publishing company in the Nordic region and publishes in over 30 countries, has over 100 daughter companies and is behind top publishing brands like Donald Duck, Asterix, Lucky Luke, Tintin and Petzi.
