Nelvana Enterprises, the licensing and merchandising arm of Nelvana, has announced a strategic partnership with FremantleMedia Kids & Family (FMK) to represent its products and intellectual properties in the UK.
Nelvana, based in Toronto and Montreal, has been one of the most prolific animation companies in Canada over the last 40 years, creating 4,000+ episodes of children’s shows like Babar and Franklin. Their work has been distributed in more than 160 countries around the world.
Nelvana Enterprises, their licensing and merchandising arm, is based in Toronto and Paris. FMK is a branch of FremantleMedia with a focus on children’s entertainment. They specialize in expanding screen properties into products,
merchandise, and live events. Existing brands owned by FMK include Tasty Tales of the Food Truckers and Danger Mouse. They have offices in the UK, US, Australia, and Hong Kong.
FMK will represent the following Nelvana properties in the UK:
Mysticons – A contemporary urban fantasy series about four heroes brought together by prophecy to become legendary warriors and battle evil.
The ZhuZhus – A series about a young girl named Frankie and her pet hamsters as they seek adventure.
Ranger Rob – A preschool series about a forest ranger and his friends, adventures, and explorations in the fantastical Big Sky Park.
Max & Ruby – A classic series based on the beloved book franchise about two rabbit siblings.
