Bandai To Flex Ultimate Muscle At Retail For 4Kids

In an agreement reached with 4Kids Ent., Bandai America Inc. will be the exclusive licensee for master toy rights, video games rights and trading card rights throughout the world, outside of Asia, for the Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy animated series.

Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy blends action, adventure, humor and entertainment sports to tell the story of Kid Muscle, the son of an intergalactic wrestling champion and Earth’s only hope against a new breed of super evil wrestling villains. Two half-hour episodes of the series air each Saturday morning on FoxBox.

Bandai, which has served as the property’s master toy licensee in Japan for many years, plans to release Ultimate Muscle collectable 1.5″ micro wrestlers, action figures and trading cards later this year. Video games and other toys will follow next year.
