Animation Hits The Radio Waves

Animation will soon have a regular spot on the radio dial. Fans and industry professionals will be able to discuss the medium on B.R.A.T.S. (Blackwell’s Radio Animation Talk Show), a new weekly radio program exec. produced and hosted by animator Joe Blackwell.

Set to premiere on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, the program will feature interviews with folks in the biz, as well as behind-the-scenes looks at video games, television commercials, movies and web content.

Originating in New York City, B.R.A.T.S airs on WJUX 103.1FM and is simulcast on 94.3FM and 99.7FM in the New York and New Jersey area. Sights have also been set on the Los Angeles market and animation buffs worldwide will be able access the show on the Web at www.radioanimation.com.
