French animation studio Alphanim has made its first app available on the App Store today. The App is based on the 2009 animated feature Kerity (aka Eleanor’s Closet), directed by Dominique Monfery.

The film centers on a young boy who inherits a magical library, in which all the characters from children’s literature have independent lives. The Kerity app features numerous clips from the beautifully animated movie, encourages literacy and is available in both French and English. It costs 2.99 euros (about $4) to download.
