Toon Scribe Jeffrey Scott Chats Online

The Big Cartoon DataBase and AnimationHQ will sponsor an online chat with Emmy-winning cartoon writer and creator Jeffrey Scott on May 10 at 4:00 p.m. ET. Visitors to http://www.sandnet.net/jIRC/chat1.html can interact with Scott live as he answers questions on a variety of animation-related topics and tells stories about the many productions he has worked on over the last 35 years.

Scott began his career writing on Dynomutt: Dog Wonder in 1976, under the name Jeff Maurer. Since then, he has written more than 600 cartoon scripts for shows such as Hanna-Barbera’s Super Friends to Disney’s DuckTales and Tailspin series. He also served on the creative team behind the Emmy-Award winning Jim Henson’s Muppet Babies series. More recently he co-developed and story-edited the critically acclaimed PBS series Dragon Tales.
