Toon Goggles Launches Viewing App for Sony Tablets
Online kids channel Toon Goggles is partnering with Sony to launch an exclusive app to deliver children’s content to Sony tablet computers via the Google Play app store.
The app will have exclusive content available in the U.S. and Canada until early October. The app will provide viewer’s instant access to a selection of popular and entertaining animated content. The Toon Goggles online channel features more than 1,500 hours of child- and parent-friendly programming.
Toon Goggles For Sony Tablet is now available for download in the Google Play App Store.
“We are staring at a generation of kids for whom mobile is their first screen,” says Stephen L. Hodge, managing director of Toon Goggles. “Kids are shifting to watching on phones and tablets rather than just televisions at home. This deal gives us an incredible opportunity to introduce the Toon Goggles platform to a whole new group of young viewers and their parents. We are thrilled to be partnering with such a leader in mobile technology; Sony is a brand that exemplifies family fun entertainment.”
Launched in 2011, Toon Goggles is a free portal where children can select programs from an ever-growing library of shows for children under age 13.
Toon Goggles recently added the action-packed Cyboars from Cyboars International along with a number of series from France’s Millimages such as Pablo the Little Red Fox.
