The first Spider-Man opened to the tune of a record-breaking $114 million and went on to earn more than $820 million worldwide. Since then, fans have been rabidly seeking out sneak peeks at the upcoming sequel.
In Spider-Man 2, college-age superhero Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) faces off against the brilliant Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), who has been reincarnated as the maniacal and multi-tentacled Doc Ock. Kirsten Dunst and James Franco return as Parker’s pals and director Sam Raimi is back at the helm.
