MySpace Taps ex-Facebooker as CEO

MySpace has added former Facebook exec Owen Van Natta to the top of its friend list as CEO of the social networking giant.

Van Natta was previously chief revenue officer and VP of operations at Facebook, as well as CEO of the online music site Playlist.

The hiring comes just days after MySpace co-founder Chris DeWolfe stepped away from the company and is the first hire under Jon Miller, the new digital czar for MySpace parent company News Corp.

Playlist, meanwhile, has tapped John Sykes as its new CEO. Sykes was co-founder of MTV, former president of VH1 and former CEO of Infinity Broadcasting.
