KOL Premieres Super Gliders

AOL’s kids site, KOL (www.kol.com ), today announced the debut of KOL Super Gliders, a cartoon series based on the site’s mascots. Ariel and Kiki, a pair of marsupials known as sugar gliders, previously had their own area on the site, which offered videos of their daily adventures along with games, photo galleries and educational information on sugar gliders and other marsupials.

In the series, the Super Gliders live at the AOL headquarters in Dulles, Virginia. Ariel is the leader of the duo and Kiki is the smart, bubbly and forgetful sidekick. Together, they employ their wild creativity and a slew of helpful friends to battle the Terra-Tech crew, which each week plots to turn the Earth into one giant machine, one tree or animal at a time. The series combines live glider footage with animation and was produced in partnership with World Leaders Ent.

KOL on AOL reaches millions of kids each month with a mix of exclusive content from top kids’ brands and original programming. The site currently features four animated online series: Princess Natasha, Skwod, Kung Fu Academy and Pilar’s Adventures.
