If you’re looking for ways to battle the mid-summer blahs, you may want to check out the new JoeCartoon.com website, which has just relaunched. Recently acquired by Endemol USA, the site offers an enhanced, user-friendly interface, providing a rich selection of the best videos from all over the Internet, as well as more than 50 original shorts including Frog in a Blender, Gerbil in a Microwave, Superfly and Thuh Greenfields.
‘Our fans have always trusted that a visit to JoeCartoon would be an in-your-face, one-of-a-kind experience,’ says Joseph C. Shields, JoeCartoon’s founder. ‘The old JoeCartoon site was a big, fat, juicy cheeseburger for the mind; whereas the new site is a side of Black Angus beef covered in 20 cans of cheese wiz that has been grilled on a spit, over a blazing fire! This new experience will take fans to new heights and far surpass expectations.’
The offering of video is broken up into five subsections: Beer, Funny, Cool, Commercials and Crazy. A new JoeCartoon themed game and cartoon will be made available each month on the site, which will also offer new videos posted each day, weekly video podcasts on iTunes and online video games featuring JoeCartoon characters in a cool retro ’70s style.
‘We’re very excited about the recent changes at JoeCartoon.com,’ notes Mike Tuinstra, CEO of JoeCartoon. ‘If you have five minutes to kill, JoeCartooon.com is where you’ll go. We encourage participation through the Church of Joe Blog, forum, contests, video games, video submissions, Myspace and YouTube.’
