CG House Offers Kicks For Soccer Fans

Spanish 3D animation studio Animalada has begun exhibiting its first animated series, Pelotazo, at http://www.animalada.com/pelotazo.htm. Playing on a national obsession with soccer and the ever-growing popularity of CG animation, the studio has produced 26 1-minute episodes centered on a team captain bent on winning but ultimately foiled by humorous circumstances.

Each short story of the series is told without dialogue, making it accessible to people everywhere. The first episode, now available for download, features a strange mix of elements, including bullet-time effects ala The Matrix and a sitcom laugh track.
