3/18/03 Cosgrove Hall Puts Ghosts in the Machine for BBCi

Following the success of its two Doctor Who internet dramas, BBCi is unleashing terror on the web with the help of animation studio Cosgrove Hall. Described as horror and adventure laced with dark humor, Ghosts Of Albion is written by Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast member Amber Benson and Buffy and Angel scribe Christopher Golden.

Set in the mid-19th century, Ghosts of Albion is a tale of demons, vampires and ghosts – quite a departure form the preschool TV animation Cosgrove Hall is best known for. The studio says the internet series is part of a plan to expand its operations to include everything from pop videos to commercials.

The first episode of the internet chiller will be launched on www.bbc.co.uk/cult on March 27. A new chapter of the story will be made available weekly over the course of the following five weeks.
