‘Young Justice’ Takes the Good Fight to DVD

Just in time for Comic-Con, the youthful heroes of the DC Universe arrive to save home video viewers with the release of Young Justice, Season 1, Vol. 1 (Warner Bros., $14.97)

The release includes four episodes from the series, which airs on Cartoon Network and recounts the adventures of Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis.

The rest of the week’s animated releases are decidedly kid-centric. Among them are: The Smurfs: A Magical Smurf Adventure (Hanna-Barbera, $19.97), The Best of The Get Along Gang (Digital1Stop, $9.98), The Best of The Littles (Digital1Stop, $9.98), The Littles: The Complete Series (Digital1Stop, $12.98), Busy World of Richard Scarry: Fun In Busytown (Digital1Stop, $12.98), Busy World of Richard Scarry: Good Times Never End (Digital1Stop, $9.98), Clifford: Dog Days of Summer (Lionsgate $14.98), Pippi Longstocking: Pippi Goes to The Fair (Phase 4 Films, $9.99), The Animated Kid’s Bible (Questar Video, $29.98) and Timeless Animated Favorites (Digital1Stop, $9.98)

On the anime side, there’s Dragon Ball Z: DB9X Six (FUNimation, $59.98).
