Spirited Away Coming to DVD This Month

Having swept off with to Oscar for Best Animated Feature, Hayao Miyazaki’s animated masterpiece Spirited Away has been given wider theatrical release and is poised to debut on DVD and VHS on April 15.

The two-disc DVD will include the original Japanese-language track, a introduction by John Lasseter (producer of the English-language version), a featurette on the voice talent, a making-of featurette, The Art of Spirited Away, original Japanese trailers and select storyboard to scene comparison. Other features include both Spanish- and French-language tracks and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.

The Buena Vista Home Ent. release will retail for $29.99 DVD and $19.99 VHS.
