‘Shrek Forever After’ Finds a Happy Home on Video

The big green goliath’s final adventure comes home to complete the collection of animation fans everywhere with the release of Shrek Forever After (DreamWorks, $30.99 DVD, $38.99 Blu-ray, $39.99 DVD/Blu-ray combo pack).

The discs are packed full of bonus features, including Donkey’s Christmas Shrektacular, Donkey’s Caroling Christmas-tacular, Shrek’s Yule Log, 12 Days of Christmas Pop-up Book, Donkey’s Decoration Scramble, Cookin’ With Cookie, Gingy’s Games & Activities and Secrets of Shrek Forever After.

The movie — fourth in the popular series — also is available in Shrek: The Whole Story Quadrilogy (DreamWorks, $49.99 DVD, $70.99 Blu-ray), a box-set featuring all four films in the series.

Also out this week is the summer visual-effects stunner Inception (Warner Bros., $28.98 DVD, $34.99 Blu-ray), directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page.

For the kids, there’s Curious George: Sweet Dreams (Universal, $16.98), SpongeBob SquarePants: Season 6, Vol. 2 (Paramount, $26.99), Yogi Bear’s All-Star Christmas Caper (Warner Bros., $14.97), Thomas and Friends: The Lion of Sodor (Lionsgate, $14.98) and Hot Wheels Battle Force 5: Season 5, Part 2 (Warner Bros., $19.97).
