Crack out the cheese and crackers, because Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death leads a strong roster of new home video releases this week.
The stop-motion duo’s latest feature-length release is available both as a stand-alone release (HIT, $14.98) and as part of Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Collection (HIT, $29.98 DVD, $29.99 Blu-ray).
Also new this week is the independent CG animated feature film Battle for Terra (Roadside Attractions, $19.98 DVD, $29.99 Blu-ray), as well as the original animated release The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (Anchor Bay, $19.97 DVD, $34.98 Blu-ray), directed by Rob Zombie.
For anime fans, there’s Naruto Uncut Box Set, Vol. 16 (VIZ, $49.99 Uncut DVD, $69.97 Special Edition DVD) and Honey and Clover Box Set, Vol. 1 (VIZ, $59.90)
Visual effects aficionados will enjoy revisiting the final frontier with Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection (Paramount, $79.99 DVD, $138.99 Blu-ray) and Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection (Paramount, $52.99 DVD, $69.99 Blu-ray). The second and final season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Warner Bros., $59.98 DVD, $79.98 Blu-ray) also arrives, as does the live-action hit movie Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins (Warner Bros., $27.95 DVD, $35.99 Blu-ray)
