Robots, children’s titles and re-issues dominate this week’s animated home video releases.

Up first is Transformers — The Japanese Collection: Headmasters (Shout! Factory, $29.96), offering a unique look into the original animated series that spawned the current box-office king feature film Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

And if giant robots in Japan is your thing, there’s also Mobile Suit Gundam OO: Wakening of the Trailblazer (Bandai Entertainment,$24.98 DVD, $34.98 Blu-ray) to check out.

For younger viewers, this week brings Fireman Sam: Brave New Rescues (HIT Entertainment, $9.98) and HIT Favorites: Preschool Fun (HIT Entertainment, $14.98), as well as the most-recent antics from the classic cat-mouse duo in Tom & Jerry: Fur Flying Adventures, Vol. 2 (Warner Bros., $14.97).

A number of Adult Swim series are getting bundled into new releases, allowing fans to catch up their collections of some of the network’s top shows. The new bundles are Metalocalypse: Seasons 1-3 (Warner Bros., $88.92), Squidbillies: Season 1, Vols. 1-4 (Warner Bros., $101.80), Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job!: Seasons 1-5 (Warner Bros., $89.92) and The Venture Bros.: Seasons 1-5 (Warner Bros., $133.82).

And Disney is releasing new editions of some of its Pixar films in combo packs containing both a Blu-ray and DVD copy of the film. The releases are Ratatouille (Disney, $39.99 Blu-ray and DVD combo pack), Up (Disney, $39.99 Blu-ray and DVD combo pack) and Wall-E (Disney, $39.99 Blu-ray and DVD combo pack).
