Chamber of Secrets Comes Home in April
Having racked up $260 million at the domestic box office, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will debut on DVD and VHS April 11. The two-disc DVD features 19 additional/extended scenes including more of ILM’s impressive digital house elf, Dobby.
Those with DVD-ROM equipped computers can take advantage of the disc’s One VoiceDVD technology, which allows users to control functions with verbal commands. Other extra features include self-guided tours featuring background characters, interviews with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), Emma Watson (Hermione), an exclusive interview with author J.K. Rowling and screenwriter Steve Kloves about rendering the adventure to the screen and a host of interactive activities.
