Ball Z Hits The Street
All right all you eager gamers, Infogrames
Inc. announced the much-anticipated Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy
Of Goku, for the Game Boy Advance, will be shipped on May 14.
"With 600,000 registered fans on the Dragon Ball Z web
site alone, there is a huge consumer base anxiously awaiting the
opportunity to become part of the interactive experience,"
Said Sr. VP and GM of Infogrames Minneapolis label, Paul Rinde.
The Dragon Ball Z program
was produced by FUNimation Production, LTD. and according to Infogrames,
has become the number one anime show on Cartoon Network with more
than 1.5 million viewers per show. The Legacy of Goku takes
the popular adventures from the series and creates an interactive
journey that puts the player in control of the Dragon Ball Z
world.
This game is not going to sneak quietly
onto the street; it is backed by an aggressive campaign with a :30
spot that will air on the Cartoon Network, World Wresting Federation
programming, Nickelodeon and WB Kids.

The Legacy which will be available on May 15. For all of
the die-hards, Dragon Ball Z: Collectible Card Game
for the Game Boy Advance will be released next month.
