Yep, King of the Hill’s on DVD

With animated prime-time series like The Simpsons, Futurama and The Family Guy all doing brisk business on DVD, Fox Home Ent. is hoping to make a Texas-sized splash today as the eagerly awaited King of the Hill Season One arrives on DVD.

From the minds of Beavis and Butt-head creator Mike Judge and The Simpsons writer/producer Greg Daniels, Fox’s King Of The Hill follows the daily lives of propane and propane accessories salesman Hank Hill, his wife Peggy, his son Bobby, his naive trailer-park niece and his beer-swilling buddies as they struggle to get through another day in Arlen, Texas.

The collectible three-disc set includes the show’s first 13 episodes, including the series pilot. Extra features include audio commentary for most episodes, deleted scenes, a Barenaked Ladies music video, the featurette Becoming King of the Hill, Dale’s Conspiracies, hidden easter eggs and more. The compilation retails for the suggested retail price of $39.98.
