Family Guy Back for Round Two

The most dysfunctional family in Quahog, Rhode Island is back as Volume Two of the animated comedy series Family Guy comes home on DVD.

The Family Guy fan base demonstrated its strength in April of this year when sales of the Volume One DVD release surpassed everyone’s expectations with more than a quarter of a million units sold within the first four weeks. The three-disc Volume Two collection features all of the remaining 22 episodes from the Fox TV series and comes loaded with never-before-seen extras.

The bonus material includes the highly anticipated, un-aired episode "When You Wish Upon a Weinstein," commentary, 15 minutes of animatics and the pilot pitch.

Heading up the eclectic Family Guy household is Peter Griffin, a big, boisterous, lovable oaf who isn’t afraid to say what’s on his mind – usually the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time. He lives in Quahog, Rhode Island with wife Lois and their three children Chris, Meg and Stewie. The latter happens to be a brilliant, sadistic baby bent on destroying the world. And don’t forget his well-spoken, cynical best friend, Brian, the family dog. The series debuted after the Superbowl in 1999 and lasted only two seasons on Fox. This year, more than 100,000 people signed an online petition to revive the show. Over the summer, the series e re-aired on TBS.

The Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment release is now available for the suggested retail price of $49.98.
