As fans eagerly await the next installment in the Rugrats feature film franchise, gamers can get the first taste of the mayhem in store. THQ Inc. has released Rugrats Go Wild for Game Boy Advance and PC. The interactive adventure is now available at retail outlets throughout North America.
Based on Paramount Pictures’ and Nickelodeon Movies’ upcoming film Rugrats Go Wild, produced by Klasky Csupo, the video game features the Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys shipwrecked on a deserted island. Gamers are able to play as both Rugrats and Thornberrys characters as they travel through an expansive island wilderness with jungles, caves, beaches and swamps.
Rugrats Go Wild also features seven replayable action games that allow players to beat their best score on three difficulty levels.
According to THQ Sr. VP of worldwide marketing Peter Dille, THQ’s Nickelodeon video game sales have exceed $300 million at retail to date.
The feature film Rugrats Go Wild is scheduled to hit theaters on June 13.
