TDK Ships Shrek Extra Large

Based on the CG animated blockbuster about a loveable green ogre, TDK Mediactive’s new game, Shrek Extra Large, has shipped for the Nintendo GameCube and will be available Nov. 1 at major retail outlets throughout North America.

Featuring new, never-before-seen environments, gameplay involves 10 levels that pit Shrek against a number of evil forces. New characters also join Shrek pals Princess Fiona, Donkey and other favorites from the feature film.

The release marks Shrek’s GameCube debut. TDK has sold more than 1.2 million units of its Shrek titles for Xbox, GameBoy Advance, GameBoy Color and PC worldwide. Shrek Super Party for PlayStation2 and Xbox is scheduled for release in November.
