Superscape to Take Fight Club Mobile

The first rule of Fight Club is don’t talk about Fight Club, even though it will soon be available for your mobile phone. Superscape Group plc. has signed a worldwide licensing agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising to develop a new 3D mobile game based on the 1999 cult favorite film starring Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Helena Bonham Carter.

The new game will be developed using Superscape’s JSR 184 compliant Swerve software and will be available for download from all major networks to both Java and Brew handsets. Under the terms of the agreement, Superscape will share revenues for downloads with 20th Century Fox.

Following the storyline of the movie, the mobile Fight Club game will have Jack, who suffers from insomnia and schizophrenia, meeting Tyler Durden on an aeroplane. The two strike up an odd friendship and form the first Fight Club. Similar clubs then proliferate throughout the USA, becoming increasingly more violent and out of control. The player’s aim is to beat Tyler Durden and stop Fight Club pandemonium from breaking out.

The game will feature a ghost fighter multiplayer mode, interactive objects and a wide range of moves including throws, kicks and punches.
