Think you know your Nick toons? Imagination Ent. wants to test your knowledge with the new Nick Trivia Challenge DVD game, now available at retail stores throughout North America. The first DVD game from Nickelodeon, it features hundreds of clips from popular Nick cartoons and 500 trivia questions in 10 different games.
Nick Trivia Challenge is hosted by SpongeBob SquarePants and also features characters from network favorites The Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Rocket Power, Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold!, As Told By Ginger, CatDog and Angry Beavers. There are five different ways to score in each of the 10 individual games–Name That Toon, What Happens Next?, Say Cheese, Who Am I?, Toon Trivia, Mystery Toon, Fact or Fiction?, Lost and Found, Spot the Difference and Toon Talk.
DVD games require only a DVD player and a remote control. The fact that there are no complicated controllers involved is making them increasingly popular with families as DVD players continue to saturate the home entertainment market. According to The New York Times, 31.3 million DVD players were sold in 2003 alone, and Adams Media Research expects two-thirds of American households to have DVD players by the end of this year.
