New Agency Connects Gaming Players with Hollywood

May 20, 2004 by Ramin Zahed divider image

Video game and Hollywood veterans Tim Langdell and Geoff Brown have announced the formation of Langdell Brown Associates, an agency created to increase the connection between movies and games. The new entity hopes to work as a liaison between video game publishers, studios and talent agents. Their main focus will be providing Hollywood access to international gaming players.

"There’s an opening for a company like ours because too many people in Hollywood look at games as just another license along with the T-shirt and the mug," Langdell told Variety recently.

Langdell and Brown have been involved in properties such as Tomb Raider and games based on the Indiana Jones trilogy and The Godfather. Langdell recently worked on the interactive movie project, Mr. Payback.
