Mario & Peach Voted Cutest Game Couple

With the Game Developers Conference taking place in San Francisco this week, leading online opinion-based community SodaHead.com has revealed their poll results for the “cutest video game couple of all time.” Nintento’s Mario and Princess Peach came out on top with 30% of the vote. Mamma mia!

Second place went to The Legend of Zelda’s Link and Zelda (also Nintendo creations) with 25%, followed by Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man (Namco) with 15%. SodaHead found the age of respondees greatly affected the voting results, with 45% of 45-54 year olds polled opting for Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man and only 5% of this group voting for Mario and Peach—while only 15% of respondents between the ages of 18-24 voted for the Pac Man couple.
