Looney Tunes: Back in Game Action

Electronic Arts is now shipping the Looney Tunes: Back in Action video game to retail stores. Based on the live-action/animated feature film now in theaters, the game was co-published with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by Warthog for PlayStation2, GameCube and Game Boy Advance.

Looney Tunes: Back in Action unites longtime rivals Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck in the search for the mythical Blue Monkey Diamond. Players can swap between the two iconic cartoon characters, using each character’s own set of special skills to thwart the evil ACME Corporation and save the Earth.

The game’s environments are also taken directly from the film. They include alien activity mecca Area 52, the Warner Bros. Studios lot ad the jungles of Africa.

Rated E for Everyone, Looney Tunes: Back in Action lists for $39.95 for console platforms and $29.95 for Game Boy Advance. The title is currently available for PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance, with the GameCube version shipping to stores next week.
