Craig McCracken’s Emmy Award-winning animated series Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends makes its Nintendo DS debut with today’s release of Midway Games’ Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: Imagination Invaders. The game brings a third dimension to the 2D franchise while holding onto many elements of the show’s visual style and feel.
Based on cartoon Network’s top-rated show, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: Imagination Invaders is an action-adventure game in which young gamers play as head mischief-maker Blooregard Q. Kazoo on a quest to rescue Madame Foster from the clutches of the diabolical Space Nut Boogies and acquire the ‘Greatest Thing in the Universe.’ Certain imaginary friends lend a hand when players activate special moves from Wilt, Coco, Eduardo and Mac, while other recognizable residents of the very unique boarding house come out for stylus-based mini-games and side quests.
Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: Imagination Invaders is rated E for Everyone and carries a suggested retail price of $29.95. For more information on this and other Midway Games releases, go to www.midway.com.
