In conjunction with the home video release of Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., THQ Inc. announced the availability of Monsters, Inc. Scream Arena, exclusively for Nintendo GameCube.

Having discovered the power of laughter, Mike, Sully and the other inhabitants of Monstropolis compete to fill their laugh canisters in unique dodge ball-style games. Monsters throw a variety of balls, each having a different effect. For instance, a disco ball makes opponents dance uncontrollably and the backwards ball… you get the idea. Up to four players can enter seven environments inspired by the movie to test their skill at Monster Keep Away, Knock ‘Em Out, Defend, Targets and Ball Tag.
