4 Million+ Matrix Games to Ship Worldwide

In what is Atari’s largest initial shipment ever, more than 4 million copies of the Enter the Matrix game will go to retailers worldwide. The highly anticipated title will be available for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and PC on May 15, in conjunction with the theatrical release of The Matrix Reloaded.

Developed by Shiny Ent. (an Infogrames studio), Enter The Matrix is a third-person action game that blurs the line between Hollywood and next generation video games with the most intensive collaboration between a game publisher and a movie studio to date. The game is directed by and features a script written by the Wachowski Brothers, creators of The Matrix trilogy.
